Our Beliefs

The foundation of our ministry

  • We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.

  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return.

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the believer.

    Acts 2:4, Romans 8:26-27, John 14:16-17, Acts 1:8

  • We believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God and without mistakes as originally written. It is the complete revelation of His character, His will for the salvation of mankind and the only unfailing rule of faith and practice for the Christian life.

  • We believe that mankind was created male and female, in the image of God. Mankind was created by and for God; that by man’s disobeying God, every person incurred guilt that led to spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice.

  • We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for our guilt and sins, was buried to deliver us from the power of sin, and was raised from the dead to offer us new life and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial death and His life-giving resurrection.

  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God’s forgiveness and new life in His Son.

  • We believe in baptism by immersion, a symbolic representation of Christ’s burial and resurrection. This act follows salvation and is a public profession of faith that an individual makes for themselves which declares Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

We live to love.
Love is the motive of everything we do. It shapes and directs all of our actions and responses. We are able to love despite wrongdoings and injustices because of God's example of how He loves us.

Family

We do life together.
We are designed to live in community with one another. Our church family bears one another's burdens, shares one another's joys, celebrates one another's victories, and meets one another's needs. We are a family that thrives on authenticity and belonging. We believe that life is better together.

Truth

We pursue and declare truth.
The world glorifies subjective truths, but we know that there is only one true reality. The truth that Jesus is our Savior is the only thing that can bring freedom. We value this freedom so much that we are willing to stand firm to the truth God provides despite how countercultural it may be.

Service

We meet the needs of others.
We actively pursue the needs of our church family and the community. Because of the freedom we have in Christ, we demonstrate love by serving one another. We believe that serving our neighbors and community provides us the opportunity to declare the Gospel through our actions and words.
